The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged along the edges and corners to the backing board and the sheet undulates slightly. The horizontal edges of the sheet are deckled and the sheet has slightly shifted in tone. Spots of discoloration are beneath the upper edge, and associated with the hinges in the corners. Pinpoint brown spots are scattered in the center especially to the left of the blue passage. Soft creases are scattered in the lower half. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
