The sheet is hinged at the upper corners and center upper edge to the backing board. Minor wear, occasional small partial losses of paper and light soiling are to the edges and corners, visible underneath the mat. Pinholes are occasionally to the edges, visible underneath the mat, presumably a vestige of the artist's working process. A pinpoint spot of stable lifting is to the upper right quadrant in a blue and green passage. A small, soft crease is near the center upper edge, and a few small ones are near the left lower edge. Pinpoint accretions are visible occasionally. A small spot of adhesive residue is to the left lower edge, and a few pinpoint spots are above center in a blue passage. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
