The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Visible under close inspection and raking light, faint transfer marks, handling marks and a few tiny losses are to the extreme edges, and a faint scuff is to the upper left corner. A small protrusion is to the center left edge. Visible under raking light, a very faint abrasion is to the upper left quadrant in a brown painted passage. A few pinpoint accretions, rubs and transfer marks are occasional to the canvas. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
