The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged to the backing board at the upper corner-tips and undulates slightly. The edges of the sheet are very slightly deckled and the media has faded very slightly. Fine creasing is to the lower left corner-tip and a few tiny areas of discoloration are to the lower edge. A pinpoint accretion is to center just below the figure's nose and another is just below the figure's leftmost hand. Two tiny scuffs are to the figure's head. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
