The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The work is structurally sound. A light layer of surface dust is present to the interior crevices of the thermos. A few surface abrasions and associated losses are occasional, most notably to passages of heavier impasto. Handling marks and scuffs are occasionally to the black vessel, in keeping with the artist's choice of found medium and working method. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
