This work has not been examined unframed. The sheet is hinged to the backing board at the corner-tips and periodically along the edges and undulates slightly. Artist's pinholes, with associated wear, and faint creasing is occasional, most notably to the corner-tips and edges of the sheet. The upper edge of the sheet is slightly deckled and the upper left corner is cut irregular. Handling marks are occasional to the sheet. An area of skinning is above center in the neck area of the figure, most likely in keeping with the artist's working method. Adhesive residue is visible to the lower register of the sheet. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
