The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

This work has not been examined unframed. The sheet is hinged to the backing board at the corner tips and undulates slightly. Artist pinholes are to the corner tips. Minor wear, creases and handling indents are occasionally to the corner tips and edges. A few minute partial tears are visible to the extreme edges. A small accretion is to the figure's proper left thigh. There is no apparent inpainting under ultraviolet light.
