The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged to the backing board at the upper corner-tips and center upper edge and undulates slightly. The sheet has shifted in tone. Minor wear, creasing and a few tears, one most notably to the lower right corner, are to the corner-tips and extreme edges. Fine drying cracks, some with associated tiny losses, and tiny losses are infrequent/scattered. A fine linear abrasion is below center in a royal blue painted passage and a tiny spot of stray media is to the left center extreme edge. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
