The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged to the backing board along the upper edge and undulates slightly. The upper and left edges of the sheet are deckled. An artist's pinhole is to the lower right corner. Minor wear is to the corner-tips and extreme edges. Two pinpoint protrusions with associated pinpoint losses are just left of center in a metallic painted passage right next to the centermost figure's ear. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
