The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The work is structurally sound and in working order. The musical instrument plays when the work is tilted from side to side. The exterior has shifted in tone. General wear is visible throughout, several cracks, spots of discoloration and spots of lifting are visible to the side edges and edges of the paper, and a few drip accretions are visible along the upper edge, most notably to the left upper edge. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
