The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The work is structurally sound and all elements are present. Surface irregularities are intermittent, in keeping with the artist's working method and choice of medium. One of legs is slightly loose, yet stable at the base. As is typical of these sculptures, the legs are unbalanced and the artist has confirmed that a small block of wood should be placed under the foreleg to balance the sculpture. The sculpture is not sold with an accompanying block. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
