A strip frame is affixed to the side edges of the painting. A light layer of surface dust is scattered, notably on the impasto peaks. Under close inspection, pinpoint brown accretions are scattered throughout and one brown accretion is to the lower left quadrant. Tiny white paint accretions are also scattered throughout. Under close inspection, a small passage of drying cracks is visible in the upper right quadrant. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
