The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

This work has not been examined unframed. A fine layer of surface dust is to the interior crevices. A few tiny losses are occasional, most notably to center and to the center left edge, both in red and blue painted passages. A few faint drying cracks with associated losses are center in a blue painted passage. Two tiny holes are to the lower right edge in a blue painted passage, presumably in keeping with the artist's choice of medium. A hairline scratch is to a dark blue painted passage. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
