The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The sheet is hinged periodically to the backing board and undulates slightly. The sheet has shifted in tone. The right and lower edges of the sheet are deckled. Visible upon close inspection and under ultraviolet light, pinpoint spots of foxing are scattered, most notably to the unpainted sheet to the upper register. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
