The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Minor wear is to the corner-tips and turning edges. A few faint abrasions are occasional. Visible under close inspection and raking light, a few fine hairline cracks are ococasional to the upper register and along the extreme edges. Areas of rubbing and losses are to the upper quadrant, some possibly in keeping with the artist's working method. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
