The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The work is structurally sound. Visible under close inspection, fine drying cracks are to the upper lid of the work in light pink and blue painted passages, presumably in keeping with the artist's working method and nature of the medium. A few tiny accretions are occasional. Visible under close inspection and ultraviolet light, a pinpoint spot of inpainting, possibly from a repaired break, is to the upper lid in a blue painted passage.
