The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged periodically to the backing board at the corners and edges and undulates slightly. Artist pinholes are scattered to the edges and corners. Wear, stray media and handling marks are throughout, presumably in keeping with the artist's working process. Two tears are to the lower corners, also possibly in keeping with the artist's working method. Visible under strong raking light, a very small spot of skinning is to the center right edge. Under ultraviolet light, a few passages along the right vertical edge fluoresce distinctly but do not appear to be inpainting, possibly in keeping with the artists working method or adhesive residue. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
