The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The works have not been examined unframed. Minor wear, tiny accretions, nicks, faint creasing and handling marks are occasional to the corner-tips and extreme edges of the margins. A few faint scratches, scuffs and pinpoint losses are occasional to some of the images and minor wear and creasing is to some of the collaged elements. A few faint hairline cracks are occasional to some of the images. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
