The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The newspaper elements have shifted slightly in tone. Minor wear, rubbing and faint tension cracking is to the corner-tips and extreme edges. A faint diagonal transfer mark is to center lower edge and a pinpoint accretion is to the upper left edge. Faint creasing, a few surface scuffs and a few faint abrasions are to the newspaper element of the work, some most likely in keeping with the artist's working method. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
