The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The artist has mounted the wallpaper to a paper support, which he has signed and dated. The paper undulates slightly, and the edges are deckled. Spots of stray media, soft creasing and minor tears are to the wallpaper, in keeping with the artist's working method. Small passages of loss, some with associated lifting, are occasionally to the figures, most notably to the upper left quadrant in an orange passage. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
