The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

This work has not been examined unframed. A fine layer of surface dust and faint general surface soiling is present. Minor rubbing is occasional to the impasto peaks. A few hairline drying cracks are visible near the edges. A pinpoint loss is to the lower right corner tip and upper edge. A few accretions and spots of residue are occassional, keeping with the artist's choice of medium and working method. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
