The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

A wooden strip frame is affixed to the side edges of the canvas. The canvas is slightly slack. Minor wear is to the corner tips and turning edges. A few pinpoint losses are to the painted figures, another loss is just above the lower edge at center, and a larger loss is to the lower left corner. Drying cracks are scattered throughout the background with a few fine hairline cracks to the extreme edges. Hairline cracking, nascent cracking, and a few impact cracks are scattered to the lower third of the canvas. There is no apparent inpainting under ultraviolet light.
