The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The work is structurally sound. A fine layer of surface dust is present. Surface variation is scattered. Wear, scuffs, rubs, surface scratches, losses, most notably to the edges, and abrasions are occasional. A fine hairline crack is to the lower left quadrant. Drying and further hairline cracks are to the left and right edges of the sculpture. Visible under ultraviolet light, two small spots of possible inpainting are to the reverse upper right edge and another is to the upper left edge.
