The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The lower canvas overlap is folded along the side edge and partially painted, in keeping with the artist's working method. Minor wear is to the lower corner tips. A fine layer of surface dust is present. Drying cracks are to the passages of heavier impasto near the lower half. An inactive mold pattern is on the reverse, and a few faint spots of inactive mold are near the right edge. There is no apparent inpainting under ultraviolet light.
