The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

This work has not been examined unframed. A light layer of surface dust is present. Faint rubbing is to the corner-tips and occasionally to the turning edges and impasto peaks. Tension cracking is occasionally to the turning edges, and an associated small spot of lifting is to the right upper extreme edge. Small passages of drying cracks are intermittently. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
