The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged to the backing board periodically along the edges and undulates slightly. Visible under close inspection, faint creasing, a few tiny tears, and very minor wear is to the corner-tips and edges. A pinpoint loss is near center within a glue impasto peak, and a few fine hairline cracks are also to center within the glue impasto peaks. Rubbing is occasional to the glue, and creasing is occasional to the sheet. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
