The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged to the backing board along the upper edge. A few tiny nicks are to the lower edge of the paperboard and the lower edge is unevenly cut. Spots of skinning, a few pinpoint accretions and small paper accretions are to the margins of the paperboard. The sheet has shifted slightly in tone. Faint creases and losses are the corner-tips and edges of the sheet. A tear is to the lower right edge. Further creasing, drip accretions and fine linear abrasions are occasional. Faint rubbing with associated losses is to the center right edge in black painted passage. Two repaired tears are to the reverse of the paperboard. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultravioelt light.
