The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

This work has not been examined unframed. Minor wear with faint rubbing and very fine hairline tension cracking is to the corner tips and turning edges. A faint protrusion is to the lower edge, and slight canvas draws are to the right corners. A few fine drying cracks are to the passages of heavier impasto, and a few compressed impasto peaks are occasional. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
