The sheet is hinged periodically along the upper edge to the backing board and undulates slightly. There is minor wear and faint handling marks to the edges and corners. Pinholes are to the corners, presumably a vestige of the artist's working process. Pinpoint accretions are visible intermittently, primarily to the margins. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
