A layer of faint surface soiling is visible occasionally throughout. A faint crease is to the upper right corner of the magazine. A few pinpoint losses are occasionally to the corners and turning edges of the magazine. The magazine is faintly discolored and faint creases are visible occasionally, presumably due to the artist's choice in medium. A few small spots of faint discoloration are to the edges of the plastic encasements. A few pinpoint accretions are to the upper edge of the frame, and a few are to the petroleum jelly, presumably vestiges of the artist's process. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.

The condition of lots sold can vary widely due to factors such as age, previous damage, restoration, repair, and wear and tear. The nature of the lots sold means that they will rarely be in perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
