The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

A metal strip frame is affixed to the side edges of the canvas. The canvas is slightly slack. Minor wear and faint rubbing is occasional to the corner-tips and extreme edges. A few fine hairline cracks are to the upper right corner in a white painted passage. Compressed impasto peaks with associated wear are occasional. Visible under close inspection, very fine hairline cracks are occasional, most notably along the right register. A few pinpoint losses are occasional to some of the heavier passages of paint. The paper collage element has shifted in tone and faint creases are occasional. A few pinpoint accretions and fibrous accretions are infrequent. Visible under ultraviolet light, spots of inpainting are scattered, most notably to the impasto peaks.
