The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The canvas is slightly slack. Minor wear, rubbing, handling marks and a few scuffs are occasional to the corner-tips and edges. A few tiny losses are to the upper left quadrant in a silver painted passage. Fine drying and hairline cracks are scattered. A few fine abrasions are occasional to the black painted passages. Drip accretions are occasional, most notably near the lower register of the unpainted canvas. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
