The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged at the lower right and upper corners to the backing board. The sheet has shifted in tone, and a possible selective varnish layer is present. Artist pinholes are visible to the corners, and the lower left corner tip is missing. There is minor wear to the corners and edges. A few small scattered cracks are visible to the painted passages. There is no apparent inpainting visible ultraviolet light.
