The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Please note, an illustration is to the reverse of the second sheet. The sheets are hinged to the backing board along the upper edge and center vertical edges. The third sheet undulates slightly, the edges of the first sheet are slightly deckled and the left edge of the second sheet is unevenly cut. The second sheet has shifted slightly in tone. Minor wear, faint creases, handling indents and a few tiny tears are occasional to the corner-tips and edges. Artist's pinholes are periodically to the corner-tips and edges of the first and second sheet. A few pinpoint accretions are infrequent. A faint handling mark is above center just above the word 'Lady' of the second sheet and another is to the hand of the third sheet. A few tiny creases are infrequent to the third sheet. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
