The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The work is structurally sound. The white painted passages are slightly discolored. A small loss is just beneath the serpent's head and a few pinpoint losses are to the figure's hand and legs. A small spot of discoloratoin is towards the end of the serpent's tale. Under ultraviolet light, a repair is visible between the sepent's head and the male figure.
