The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Minor wear and rubbing is to the corner-tips and turning edges. Drying cracks and a few pinpoint losses are scattered to the black painted passages. Slight fraying and fine tears are occasional to some of the edges and corner-tips of the cut canvas, presumably in keeping with the artist's working method. Slight curling of the cut canvas is occasional, most notably to the upper register also presumably in keeping with the artist's working method and choice of medium. A few pinpoint accretions are occasional. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
