The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The work is structurally sound. Minor wear is scattered. Visible under close inspection, fine surface scratches and very fine drying cracks are occasional, presumably in keeping with the artist's working method. A tiny spot of lifting that appears to be stable is to the figure's stomach in a teal painted passage. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
