The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Minor wear, slight rubbing and a few fibrous accretions are to the corner-tips and turning edges. Visible under very close inspection and raking light, fine hairline tension cracking is to the upper left turning edge and a pinpoint loss is near the upper right turning edge in a black painted passage. Small possible losses, some with slight lifting of the impasto are scattered, most notably to the right edge of the canvas. Visible under close inspection and raking light, a few fine hairline cracks are to the thicker red impasto paint, most notably near center and along the left extreme edge. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
