The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

A strip frame is affixed to the side edges of the canvas. The canvas is slightly slack. A fine layer of surface dust and cobwebs are present. Minor wear and rubbing is occasional to the extreme edges. Air bubbles with a few pinpoint associated losses are to the left extreme edge. A faint vertical abrasion is to the upper left extreme edge and only visible under close inspection, another faint diagonal one is to the lower right quadrant in a gray painted passage. Pinpoint accretions and drip accretions are occasional, most notably near the right edge of the canvas. Artist's skips with a few pinpoint associated losses are occasional. A few fibrous accretions are occasional. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
