The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
A few linen fibers are slightly frayed on the left and right edges of the work, presumably a vestige of the artist's choice of support and working method. Soft creases are scattered, likely inherent to the support. There is no apparent inpainting under ultraviolet light.
