The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged to the backing board along the upper edge. The sheet is slightly discolored, most notably to the extreme edges. Two faint creases are near the upper left corner. A small passage of adhesive residue is to the upper left edge and another is to the center right edge, not visible when framed. A few pinpoint spots of accretions and faint discoloration are occasional, most notably along the upper margin and near the right center edge. Visible under close inspection, a few small spots of artist correction are to the upper right and lower left quadrants. A minute embedded accretion is to the lower left quadrant in a black painted passage. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
