The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Minor wear, rubbing and small losses are to the corners and edges. A few pinpoint accretions are occasional, most notably to the lower right within the figure's arm. A pinpoint loss is to the left edge of the figure's hat in a navy painted passage and another is just above the figure's rightmost eye. Faint hairline cracks are intermittent, most notably to the face and neck of the figure and to the upper right edge. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
