The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged to the backing board at the corner tips and periodically along the edges and undulates. Very minor wear is to the corner tips. A faint hairline scuff is to the lower third, possibly in keeping with the artist's working method. Pinpoint spots of foxing are occasional to the margins and to the mat. A small area of discoloration, possibly liquid-related, is to the lower right corner. There is no apparent inpainting under ultraviolet light.
