The side edges of the canvas are covered by an artist’s strip frame. The stretcher is slightly out of plane. Very fine hairline cracks are along the turning edges. A vertical accretion is to the lower left quadrant, and a spot of discoloration is above the twine. Only visible under close inspection and ultraviolet light, small faint accretions are scattered to the surface.
