The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

This work has not been examined unframed. A few rubs and abrasions are occasional to the corner-tips and turning edges. A small linear abrasion is below center in an orange painted passage and a pinpoint loss is to the upper left quadrant in an orange painted passage. A few faint drip accretions are occasional. Visible under close inspection, tiny spots of discoloration are infrequent to the white painted passages and slight lifting that appears to be stable is to some of the white painted passages. Fine hairline cracks are to the upper left quadrant of the composition in a white painted passage. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
