The frame is structurally sound, and there is light surface soiling overall. Pinpoint losses of paint are visible intermittently to the frame, with a more prominent loss to the lower left quadrant. The sheet is slightly slack. A small spot of disturbed fibers is to the center upper edge of the canvas. A minute spot of lifting of paper is to the lower right corner, and a pinpoint loss of paper is to the upper left corner. A small tear with associated pinpoint loss of pigment is near the center left edge, and one is below center. Two faint abrasions with associated minute losses are to the right center edge, and two are to the left lower edge. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
