The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
This work has not been examined outside of its frame. The sheet is hinged periodically along the edges to the backing board, undulates slightly and has shifted in tone. Tiny spots of discoloration and soiling are occasionally, and a linear passage of disturbed fibers is to the lower left quadrant in a blank passage. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
