The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet undulates slightly near the lower edge and is hinged to the backing board at the upper corners and center edges. The edges of the sheet are slightly deckled. Artist pinholes are to the upper corner tips. A tiny crease is to the upper right and lower corner tips, and a few soft creases and handling indents are near the lower left edge. Small drying cracks are to the passages of heavy black paint. There is no apparent inpainting under ultraviolet light.
