The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged at the upper corners to the backing board and undulates slightly. The sheet has slightly shifted in tone. A small loss of paper is to the upper left corner, and a small one is to the lower right corner visible underneath the mat. A few small tears, some with associated loss of paper, are visible occasionally to the edges, some only visible underneath the mat. Minute spots of adhesive residue and lifting of the paper collage elements, some with small partial tears, are visible occasionally, presumably a vestige of the artist's working method. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
