The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Three holes are along the top edge of the canvas, in keeping with the artist's working method to fasten the stretched canvas onto the mechanical paint dipper. A faint layer of surface dust and minor wear are throughout. Some impasto peaks are slightly bent and a small loss is between two lower left drips. Under ultraviolet light, areas of slight cloudiness are visible to the lower left edge. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
